iCloud is down: What's going on? When will it be back up?

As of about 15 minutes ago, there were only 113 reports of problems with iCloud's email service, so the storm appears to have passed. If you're still experiencing issues, it's likely to be resolved within 15 to 20 minutes.

Apple says all services have been restored to working order and will continue to monitor Online Activity and Downdetector for additional reports of ongoing iCloud issues.

It appears that the UK is experiencing the same iCloud issues as the US, but since it's outside business hours in the UK, fewer users are likely to be affected. But for those trying to get personal work done, this outage can be just as frustrating.

The main service that appears to be affected is iCloud Mail, which Apple is reporting as a total outage, with other apps reporting partial outages.
