Super Bowl 58 focused on the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, but for a time, the spotlight was on another pair: Elphaba and Glinda.
Sunday's game featured a one-minute introduction to Universal's upcoming film version of “Wicked.” The film is scheduled to be released in two parts, with the first part on November 27th. The film adaptation stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and also stars Michelle. Yoh, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Jeff Goldblum, and more.
Wicked is the new production for fans of the Broadway musical based on Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel of the same name. According to the description accompanying the trailer, the story follows Elphaba (Erivo) and Glinda (Grande), young women who meet as students at Shiz University and develop an unlikely friendship.
